This installation includes TRichView, RichViewActions, ScaleRichView and SRVControls.

TRichView (shareware) is a suite of native (not based on MS RichEdit control) components for editing rich text documents.

Documents can contain:

  • text with various fonts and colors, with special effects
  • hypertext (hypertext styles can have their own cursor and highlight color)
  • pictures (bitmaps, icons, metafiles, third-party graphic formats, including animated gifs)
  • pictures from Image Lists (they also can be hypertext links)
  • any Delphi controls (and they will work as usual)
  • background bitmap (it can be tiled, centered or stretched, scrolled or not)
  • HTML-style tables with rich text document in every cell
  • bulleted and numbered paragraphs
  • footnotes and endnotes
RichViewActions (freeware addon to TRichView) is a set of actions and components for creating user interface for a a word processor. RichViewActions include actions for all basic and many advanced word processing commands, predefined dialogs, additional components (such as ruler). RichViewActions are translated to about 30 languages. They can work with TRichView and ScaleRichView editors.

ScaleRichView (shareware addon to TRichView and RichViewActions) provides WYSIWYG editing of rich text documents. ScaleRichView editor is based on TRichView engine and supports almost all features of TRichView documents.

SRVControls (freeware addon to ScaleRichView) is a set of basic controls (buttons, edits, media player, etc.) for insertion in ScaleRichView documents, providing smooth working in WYSIWYG mode with scaling.

The main new features in TRichView 15 and ScaleRichView 6:

  • text boxes
  • special headers and footers for the first and odd/even pages
  • page numbers and page count fields
  • new actions for inserting numbered sequences and object captions
  • improved object properties dialog

ScroogeXHTML for Delphi is a component which can convert RTF stored in files, strings or a RichEdit component to HTML 4.01, HTML5 and XHTML. It is fast and easy to customize. Full source code and one year free upgrade protection are included.

Features:

    ScroogeXHTML for Delphi converts text attributes including background and highlight colors, paragraph attributes including alignment (left, right, centered, justified) and paragraph indent (left, right, first line) and simple numbered or unnumbered lists. Unicode conversion allows multi-language documents, including simplified and traditional Chinese, Korean and Japanese. CSS and default font settings help to create optimized documents. Supported document types are: XHTML 1.0 Strict and Transitional, XHTML Basic 1.0, XHTML Mobile Profile 1.0 (a.k.a WAP 2.0), HTML 4.01 Strict and Transitional, and HTML5 (draft). ScroogeXHTML is also available for the Java(tm) platform.
Requirements and limitations:
  • supports Delphi 2009 and newer and Free Pascal
  • the RTF specification contains very many elements and features, ScroogeXHTML does only convert a limited subset. Not supported are for example tables and tabulators, embedded images may be extracted but will not be converted to other image formats.
