VCL Component with extensive configuration ability for integrating Google Maps in Delphi & C++Builder applications.

Features:

  • Different map modes are available: default road map, satellite view, hybrid view and terrain
  • Extra map information can be displayed: Bicycle View, Panoramio (pictures of interest) information, Traffic information
  • StreetView can be selected
  • Position markers may be added to the maps, including default Google balloon markers and custom image markers.

Plugin to mix VCL and FireMonkey forms in the same Delphi project

The intention of this plugin is to make it easy for those of us with large existing projects to gradually migrate them over to FireMonkey, while still being able to release updates of our evolving software to clients.

This is particularly ideal for those with cross-platform ambitions down the line, where otherwise the "cost" of investing in a completely new project would be prohibitive.

While Embarcadero does not officially endorse this method, those who're using it have made it abundantly clear that, as of Delphi XE6 update 1 at least, the method "just works".

Please be aware that there's a possibility that future versions of Delphi may break this functionality.

DropMaster is a set of 4 native VCL controls for use in Delphi and C++Builder. While the VCL components included with Delphi and C++Builder permit drag and drop between windows in the same application, DropMaster allows developers to add support for drag and drop between applications. The drag and drop can be between the developer's new application and existing applications such as the Microsoft Office suite, a web browser, etc., or between two custom-written applications.

DropMaster's functionality is divided according to whether you want to allow the user to drag from his application to elsewhere, i.e., a drag source, or from elsewhere to his application, i.e., a drop target. In addition to the actual drag and drop functionality, the components expose several events that allow the developer to get feedback on the drag and drop process while it is happening, or to modify it.

The 4 DropMaster components are: TDMTextSource, TDMTextTarget, TDMGraphicSource, TDMGraphicTarget.
