The TVideoGrabber SDK is a video capture / media player component for developers working with C#, VB, C++, Delphi, C++Builder, Lazarus, and ActiveX-compatible development tools. Powerful and simple to use, TVideoGrabber will help you to save time, money and effort to include video and/or audio capabilities in your project.

You can capture and record video and audio streams from most of the video capture devices, IP cameras, screen, as well as from images used as video source. You can compress by using popular software encoders like H264, XVid, DivX.

TVideoGrabber is also an advanced media player that lets you play audio/video clips at their normal speed, faster, slower, forward and backward, one by one or with a playlist.

You can capture frames, perform graphic and text overlays over the video frames or directly over the video window, apply video processings like rotation, cropping, perform PIP video from another TVideoGrabber component, and much more. You can join several clips into a single one, or split a clip into smaller clips, or reencode them into a different format.

TVideoGrabber includes a single component the following features:

  • Video Capture: captures analog or digital video sources like USB web cams, IP cameras, PCI composite cards, USB analog capture like Easycap, HD capture cards like Blackmagic Decklink, Avermedia Live Gamer portable, Hauppauge Colossus, GigE cameras like Basler, Point Grey
  • IP Cameras: supports IP cameras in MJPEG or JPEG mode. Supports RTSP cameras with the optional Datastead RTSP DirectShow source filter, that lets you save to MP4/FLV/MOV/AVI/MKV without transcoding and generate new files without frame lost.
  • Video Recording: Records in AVI, WMV, MPEG, MKV, MP3, FLV, MP4, WAV, WebM(VP8) format. Pause/Resume recording. Compress on the fly or after recording, by using software codecs.
  • Video Clips built from JPG/BMP files or memory bitmaps: build video clips from a set of picture files, in raw format or compressed with codecs like MPEG4, DivX, etc...
  • Audio recording: records in WAV or MP3 from an audio capture device or a video clip.
  • Media player: plays video clips at normal speed, faster or slower, forward or backward. The SourceStream property lets specify a TStream as source.
  • Video Streaming: streams video capture devices or video clips directly from the computer or indirectly through a Windows Media server.
  • Text and Graphics Overkays: draws text and graphics over video frames or directly over the video windows. Includes text shadowing for a better readability.
  • Audio Broadcasting: streams the audio capture device or the audio extracted from a video clip directly from the computer or indirectly through a Windows Media server.
  • Audio Vu-Meters: displays the audio levels with analog or bargraph VU-meters.
  • Motion Detection: include motion detection between each frames or from a reference frame.
  • Multiplexed Inputs: support video capture cards with multiplexed inputs, e.g. for video surveillance applications.
  • Video Processing: crop, zoom, top-down, hue, saturation, contrast, etc...
  • Multiple monitors: shows video windows on more than one monitor, windowed or full screen
  • Reencoding: converts video clips in other formats, by using the codecs available on the current platform.
